About Me

I am interested in Linguistics and Cognitive Neuroscience, focusing on phonetics, language acquisition, and memory. I completed my BA in Linguistics at Lancaster University and an MSc in Linguistics (Phonetics) at the University of Edinburgh. I am currently working in Dr. Caicai Zhang’s lab, investigating the role of sleep in memory consolidation during Cantonese tone learning. My PhD thesis focuses on the neural and cognitive mechanisms underlying language learning and memory systems.
